Historic location
Right in the center of Subotica — everything the city offers is just minutes away on foot.
Apartman Mirakul is located in the iconic Prokeš Palace — one of the most beautiful buildings in the center of Subotica, dating back to the era when Art Nouveau shaped the city's unique character. The blend of historic charm and modern comfort creates a special atmosphere from the very first moment.
What guests appreciate most is the location — nearly everything worth experiencing in Subotica is just a short walk away. City Hall, the Korzo promenade, restaurants, cafés, the synagogue, and many of the city's landmarks are all within easy reach, with no need for a car.
The apartment has been carefully designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout your stay. A fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and thoughtful details that make you feel at home are all at your disposal. Whether you are visiting for a weekend getaway, a business trip, or simply to explore Subotica from its finest location — Mirakul is where comfort, atmosphere, and the city come together.
Prokeš Palace was built in 1887, designed by local architect Géza Koczka. It spans three streets — the Korzo promenade, Engelsova Street and Đure Đakovića Street — and was the largest rental building in Subotica at the time of its construction.
Built in the spirit of Italian Renaissance, with a massive ground floor, rusticated facade treatment and arched portals, the palace remains one of the most recognizable buildings in central Subotica. As the natural endpoint of the Korzo, it has shaped the look and identity of the city's core for over a century.
Apartman Mirakul is located right inside Prokeš Palace, at the very heart of Subotica. City Hall, the Synagogue, Rajhl Palace and other landmarks are just a few minutes' walk away — your stay begins inside one of the most significant historic buildings in the city.
With the arrival of the railway in the second half of the 19th century, Subotica grew from a Pannonian market town into one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the then Kingdom of Hungary. The railway brought trade, industry, and new residents, setting in motion a period of prosperity that permanently shaped the city's appearance.
It was this prosperity that gave rise to many of the landmarks for which Subotica is known today — the City Hall, the Synagogue, the Art Nouveau palaces, and the grand buildings along the Korzo, including Prokeš Palace. As an important railway hub, Subotica became a meeting point of Central Europe's commercial and cultural routes.
The city remains excellently connected by rail today. A high-speed railway links Subotica with Novi Sad and Belgrade, daily services connect it with Szeged, and the completion of the high-speed line towards Budapest is eagerly anticipated. Apartman Mirakul is just a few minutes' walk from Subotica Railway Station, meaning that for many guests, their stay begins almost the moment they step off the train.

"Location in the city center but it's pretty quiet there, trainstation is in 2 minutes, all places of interest are nearby. Apartment looks luxury, very clean. The host is kind, he meet and walked us to the place, explained all the details, shown all the things. My girlfriend especially noted bed and pillows — very comfortable. Thanks a lot for the good stay!"

"This apartment is excellent! The interior design was beautiful, modern, and very well thought out. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. What really impressed me were the many thoughtful extras that we didn't expect — they truly made our stay even more enjoyable. It's clear that a lot of care went into making this place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!"
